I can't imagine how
fast life passes me by
after the age of
21...and suddenly I'm
23. I used to dread aging so fast, but I've learnt that there are many perks in aging too. One can age, but
aging gracefully is a
skill to be acquired. And I sure hope I inherit that skill!
It's my
23rd year spending my birthday with no special someone, but I am truly grateful and blessed to be surrounded by my
best pals and my loving mum/sisters who never failed to be there for me. I
received some great gifts from them too! I treasure practical gifts and am
never a cuddly toys kinda person, so thanks mum for "buying" me the anticipated
driving license and holland/germany trip, thanks Mitch for the much needed
nike sports pants,

clinque eye cream,

best friend no. 1 for the
nike mini sports singlet that I've been eyeing for some time,
and
best friend no. 2 for the everlast canvas shoes that I liked on impulse. Tee hee... ;p
I started the day by going for my usual gym sessions in the morning, and was taken aback by the counter staff wishing me Happy B'day... as I've almost forgotten about it and took quite some time to process the greeting. Afterwards, best friend no.1 and I headed to Marina square to meet best friend no.2.
We then had dinner at Azabu Sabo:

Dr. Tan SM of cell bio lect mentioned that after 25, collagen would be rapidly lost from a woman's skin. I am 2 years from there...very near leh! Am getting worried already... so I hope the remaining 2 years won't fly by so fast.
