Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure -Tony Benn

Had wanted to post pics of my eyelid op but its still in my sony camera, furthermore, I stopped keeping track of my 2nd week progress, so I think I better post some other photos I took from the cam Mavis gave me.

Last week was a rather eventful one. On fri, I went to Toys 'R' Us with SY and SH after school and we decided to take some pictures since I wanted to test out my new camera anyway. I realised that kids nowadays really have it good, I mean, look at their toys! They even had toy ponies that could support their weight!

Then I forced SY and SY to do a duel with fake swords, In which SY gamely played the part while SH looks compelled. Lol...

Saw a couple of interesting toys:

How I missed climbing into one of these in Parkway's old Toys 'R' Us to play when I was still a kid.

These kitchen sets looks really fun and modern! They even have pizza & sushi sets...unbelievable!

Always wished my house was big enough to place one of these inside.

Now they even have the shaded version to keep your kids shielded from the harmful UV rays... How pampered these kids are nowadays!

On Sat, I met SY (Sweeyee) and I decided that we should go to the museum since its so boring to do shopping or watch movies every single week. Since its free admission and something out of the ordinary, we took a walk inside and rediscovered what our little island had to offer.

First off, we caught these displays of white, pole-like stuff by some Japanese artist. There was some explanation but we can't make much sense about how it reflects her work, but I guess artists being the artist they are, us laymen can never fully understand their perspective.

I don't know why the hell SY looks so pissed. Haha...

I know I'm very flexible. Hee hee hee...

Museum was really fun, I learnt a lot about the history of Singapore as well as some elements from the flim, photography, food and fashion galleries. The only thing that spoilt my day was the sprain on my left leg, which caused me to limp for pratically the whole day and 2 days after. However I just saw a chinese physician yesterday (cause the pain became unbearable) and she did acupuncture on my leg, so it's getting better now. My virgin acupuncture experience taught me a precious lesson: Never to get my legs sprained again.
I tell you, when the needle poked a total of 4 times with 1 over cm depth into my ankle, I felt excruciating pain that words alone can't describe... I practically screamed till the physician's daughter have to shut her room door, I also almost fainted. It's more painful than all my piercing, tattooing, braces and surgery experiences combined. After that, I resolved to never let myself sprain my ankle again. Ever.

That's so much for now. Hope these photos entertained!
