"We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams." - Unknown

CNY this year was boring just like all the other years, but yesterday I managed to take a lift from boredom by filming my 2 cousins in action. Both the young boys are incredibly entertaining, flexible and talented dancers (for their age)...I decided to capture this memory of them battling out on the dance floor (actually it's just Aaron boy's dark room). They only had 2 listens of this song before they started dancing...so, I find them quite creative and talented.

The room is a lil' dark so I think you guys must brighten up your screens to see it. Got it posted on youtube too. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bChXqDtX4U

Proudly Presenting...
Dancers:
Joshua (taller one) & Timothy. Cameo: Sameo Choregraphers: Joelle, myself and the both of them. Director: Joelle. Camera man: Yours truly.

Actually, I've always loved dancing and had admired those who are adept at this art of shaking their booties...even more so than talented singers (because there is just too many of them). Alas, I've never had any of the double "T"s (Talent and Technique). But I think I could shake some mean arse when I'm in da mood. *Tee hee*. Anyway,I hope to learn some salsa and belly dancing after I graduate.

Dancing is always the advantageous activity. It relieves stress, lets you sweat it out and lose the extra calories, gets your adrenaline pumpin' and is a form of art/expression. What not to like? Sometimes, I even dance like a mad woman in the privacy of my own living room, especially when the right music comes on. Just puts you in the mood ya know? So why oppress yourself or get afraid of being embarrassed? When you feel angry, put on some angsty music and rock out, when you feel sad, put on some melancholic music and sway with the rhythm & when you feel ecstatic, put on some Black eye peas and pump it! So what are you waiting for? Just let yourself go and feel the music!

I know, I ran out of creative titles for my blogs...

But, Happy CNY ya all! My first blog without a quote to kickstart everything...well, figured out I should do something refreshingly different. (Erm, actually it's just that I'm too lazy to search for one...it's 4.02a.m now ok...)

So, the long wait is finally over. The time when $$ rolls in is here again...the coveted holiday season...none other than CNY! This year, I made a resolution to save at least 1/2 of my total toll...and after that I need to save $2500 more to do something. Well, that thing I won't emphasize since that is not the main idea of my ramblings today. Anyways, for reunion dinner, moi famille catered some buffet stuff, quite glad that I was able to curb the temptation and didn't attempt a second helping (the reason why my stomach is rumbling now), but of cause I snacked lah, then again, 1/2 my snacks would go into bobby's mouth, cause he is always pawing me if I don't feed him.

Talking about ah Bobz, he had doggy breath today. When I took him down for a walk, his leash got stuck between his legs so I had to untangle it for him. The minute he saw me stood down beside him, he attempted to "kiss" me and soon enough, a whiff of unbearable doggy breath came swimming into my nosrils...not to mention, a whole lotsa doggy saliva on my lips. Last saturday was even worse, he ran without warning and jumped on me, before I knew it, his tongue went into my mouth...argh...gross. But I can't blame him cos I spoiled him rotten with all those "under-the-table" feeding of goodies which include remnants of chicken wings, fishballs, white bread, and even the sweet mochi I was eating just now. The only thing I attempted to feed ah Bobz but failed was bananas. I threw it to him and he took a lick & ran off. I had to pick that saliva-ridden banana piece and throw it. :( I can't begin to define my relationship with ah Bobz as a master with her dog, cos my uncle's the boss, but I figured bobz like me so much because I feed him with yummy human food (as opposed to his hard, tasteless dog kibble) and I talk at his level. By that I don't mean that I utter doggy language to him, but more of like I made sure I squat at his level and talk in a gentler tone to him because knowing bobz, he doesn't like too much noise or people shouting at him. I also wanted to treat him almost like an equal and with respect (pets have feelings too) Also, I wouldn't wana get on his nerves, his eyes will go all red and he would start barking like mad. 2 of my aunties had suffered his wrath and paid the price (6 stiches, a hospital stay, a bitten butt), surprisingly bobz never turn red-eyed on me, neither has he done the above mentioned to me. Tee hee...see, I have got the likability factor :p

At the risk of drifting away from my topic, let me just pose some photos taken today. No pics of reunion food though, cos we all ate at different times. Just some photos I took with my cousins and a photo of Otello, the other dog (ah Bobz hates the camera flashes, it drives him mad), so here's the loot:

The boys, all grown up.

Haha...seeing them all grown up makes me feel old somehow...but somehow happy that despite physical changes, some of them are still as lovable as they were when they were infants, toddlers, children, or what you might call it.

No bak kwa for me this cny...and lesser snacking (motivated more than ever after watching a TV series. Won't tell ya all which series it is, or I would be labeled as childish *all shy-faced* :p) Oh, and next year it's the year of the rat...which means... ... ... ...I'm turning 24 soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhh.... ...... I'll find more intelligent stuff to blog about soon enough, (excuse!) Til the next time!
